OUR MISSION

FAMILY. HEALTH. ART. EDUCATION

The Shakh Family Foundation aims to bridge the gap between art, healthcare, and community, using artistic expression and medical expertise to foster transformative healing experiences. We provide opportunities such as educational workshops, scholarships, grants for artists, awareness events, and global outreach initiatives. Our core values—family, health, art, and education—reflect our belief that strong families are essential to resilient communities. By promoting artistic and healthcare education, we aim to strengthen these bonds and promote a holistic approach to well-being, encouraging collaboration between artists and clinicians.

A Letter from the President and Co-founder of
the Shakh family foundation.

Greetings and Welcome,

At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful belief: that art, healthcare, and community are not separate realms—but deeply interconnected forces for healing, growth, and transformation. Our foundation was created to bridge these worlds, fostering collaboration between artists and clinicians, and supporting the individuals and families at the center of it all.

Through educational workshops, awareness events, creative grants, and global outreach, we strive to offer opportunities that spark both personal and communal healing. We believe that strong families are the cornerstone of resilient communities, and that health and artistic expression, when nurtured together, can lead to deeper understanding, compassion, and change.

Whether you're here to learn more about our programs, to support our mission through a donation, or to apply for the Unfamous Innovators Scholarship, we’re grateful you're part of this journey. Your generosity helps us uplift emerging voices, provide accessible education, and bring healing experiences to those who need them most.

On behalf of our entire team, I invite you to explore, connect, and collaborate with us as we work to reimagine the future of wellness; through the lens of art, health, family, and education.

With Gratitude,

Esfira Shakhmurova, FNP
